Hebrews 12:1. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
So much of what we are doing here is experiential. We experienced the wilderness and the waters of En Gedi. Today, sitting in the hippodrome of Herod on the shores of the Mediterranean in Caesarea, we were reminded of and experienced in a small way ‘running the race’ and the ‘cloud of witnesses’ cheering us on.
