Okay, so this wasn’t a walk among
… stars,
… planets
… galaxies

Still, God so loved the Cosmos,
including you and me,
and everything in it,
that he sent Jesus to redeem it.

This might be a bit too preachy,
but it’s true
…and today’s gift.

This is my Father’s world.

Today’s gift…
It’s not October
Not July yet, but only June
Dahlias are blooming!

Today’s gift
Days… Past…

Days… Today…

Days… To Come

The day’s gifts…
There have been some nose-running, cold mornings this winter. In spite of that, I’ve taken my camera out, along with my (still learning how to use them) close-up rings to see if I could come up with at least five frosty photos good enough to post. Here’s what I have…

This is my Father’s world.
Today’s gift
Spring, gone for now

Summer’s final flowery fling

Autumn’s seedy start

Winter’s waiting, oh yes, waiting

Still, today’s gift
Simple…
A – B – C
It’s yellow and black
Zipping forward… Buzzing…
Finding flowers
Mining them for nectar
Picking up pollen
Flitting backward… Zzubing…
It’s black and yellow
A Bee! See?
Simple…

Some think,
“Um, pine trees?”
Yep, they are pine trees.

Some think,
“Wow, tall.”
For sure, they are tall

Some think,
“Magnificent.”
Magnificent. No doubt.

And some think,
“Cathedral.”
A place for worship.
Indeed, a cathedral to worship
the Creator of magnificent, tall pine trees
A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Today’s Gift
It took a bit longer to mow the backyard this afternoon. I got distracted by these beauties.

Unexpected delight
